Where does the ride start?
The rider typically starts from your nearest on ramp to the m4. Parking is available near the Moses Mabhida Stadium and advertised Park & Ride venues.
Do I need to register?
Yes, Cycle Sunday is open to all. A wristband is required to access the M4 route. Enter on racepass and collect your wristband on registation at Cycle Lab, Cornubia Mall.
Is the road completely closed to cars?
Yes! The M4 North & South bound carriageway is fully closed to vehicular traffic from 05:00am to 09:00am on event day, ensuring a safe ride.
Is it suitable for children?
Absolutely. The flat route and closed roads make it perfect for families, beginners, and experienced riders alike. At Moses Mabhida Lawn, kids can also enjoy a fun packed track to ride on from 7:00am to 10:00am.
